Safety
All sitters must supply us with their (1) Curriculum Vitae, (2) Identification document, (3) Contact details, and (4) Contact details of their parents and / or a teacher. Once they have been cleared, they undergo a Teams Interview before they are accepted and added to our Sitters’ list.

Ever since I can remember, we’ve had pets. Cats, dogs, fish, hamsters… you name it. To me, a house just does not feel like a home without them waiting there for you.
Finding someone to look after them when you want to go away for a weekend, has however always been a struggle. A BIG one. ‘What if I could find someone who (1) lives within the area (2) is available on the day that I need them and (3) I could trust to look after them’ I thought. ‘And what if I could go further and create the same solution for others?’
And that was how Get A Sitter was born.

When my sister and I decided to start Get A Sitter, we realised that we didn’t have to stop at only pet sitting – what about those who needed someone to babysit for an evening or look after their plants when they go on holiday for an extended period? ‘Why not cater for their needs as well?’ I asked myself.
